First of all, I just want to say how beyond excited I am to have won Miss Grand Lake's Outstanding Teen and have the opportunity to go back to Miss Oklahoma's Outstanding Teen. Having this title will allow me to continue to have more opportunities that will allow me to spread the word of Hemophilia. I am looking forward to attending a health fair in September and a few more appearances that will inform people about my community. As this pageant year goes on I am excited that I gradually get to welcome teens to the MOOT family of 2013.

Thank You Sponsors! - Hemophilia Preferred Care
I want to give a special thank you to Hemophilia Preferred Care group for helping support me through salute page ads, sponsoring my team for the Oklahoma Hemophilia Walk 2012, and providing me with extremely valuable information to further the Hemophilia Education and Leadership Project. Because of you, I am helping to help educate students around the state on this disease, the risks, and how they can get involved to raise awareness for those who are suffering.

Oklahoma Hemophilia Walk
This year, as Miss Broken Arrow's Outstanding Teen, I was appointed "team leader" of a walking team for the Oklahoma Hemophilia Walk. The OHW raises money to support furthering research and development of Hemophilia at the national level. I was able to gather up 12 people to support this cause, and our team raised over $1,500. I'm proud to say the walk was a huge success and together Oklahomans raise over $88,000 for the Oklahoma Hemophilia Foundation.

Official Appearance at the School of the Arts
As this is my first year holding a teen title, I have been so excited to get to do official appearances. Recently, I was asked to speak at my former vocal coach's School of The Arts. I was honored to speak to two different groups on two separate nights. I talked to them about my platform Hemophilia Education and Leadership Program and the significance that the Miss Oklahoma's organization holds in my life. This was extremely special to me since I have always dreamed of being a part of this organization and now I am finally beginning to live my dream of competing at the state level.

Glamour Gowns Fashion Show
In January, I was asked model for the Glamour Gowns and More Charity fashion show. I was so honored and excited to be apart of this fashion show along with many other contestants competing in the Miss Oklahoma and Miss Oklahoma's Outstanding Teen Organization.
I have enjoyed growing my skills in modeling through holding the title of Miss Broken Arrow's Outstanding Teen 2012. This was my first time to be modeling on stage outside of pageants. They assigned me four dresses, I loved them all and was sad I couldnt keep every single one of them! :)
I had so much fun modeling for a good cause, Children's Miracle Network, and spending time with some Miss Oklahoma friends. I would definetly do it again next year!
Check out some photos from the event!
