My Hero

My brother Kyle getting infused after a hip injury. Every time he gets hurt he has to do this. They are injecting Factor into his body, so his blood will clot and heal the injury. My brother is the one who inspired me to come up with my platform H.E.L.P.(Hemophilia Education Leadership Program), and so far I have raised over $4,000 for research and development at a  local and national level. And the funny thing is, I am terrified of needles. Thats why he is my hero.

Tulsa State Fair

One of my favorite times of the year is when the Tulsa State Fair comes to town. Now that I am a part of the Miss Oklahoma's Outstanding Teen family, I love even more the opportunity to go to the Miss Tulsa State Fair and Miss Tulsa State Fair's Outstanding Teen Pageant. This year I was able to see my sisterhood of Grand Lake titleholders. I also had the opportunity to make an appearance at the Re-Bath booth and signed many autographs. I met so many great people, I absolutely love the opportunities that I have been given by the MOOT system.

Miss Grand Lake

First of all, I just want to say how beyond excited I am to have won Miss Grand Lake's Outstanding Teen and have the opportunity to go back to Miss Oklahoma's Outstanding Teen. Having this title will allow me to continue to have more opportunities that will allow me to spread the word of Hemophilia. I am looking forward to attending a health fair in September and a few more appearances that will inform people about my community. As this pageant year goes on I am excited that I gradually get to welcome teens to the MOOT family of 2013.
